Objective:
Design a suspended maintenance system that includes davits to protect the glass parapet wall (see Davits). Other areas were provided with roof anchors to independently tie back both suspension and fall arrest ropes in areas of the building where the parapet could support the load. Curb anchors were installed where concrete curb was available to avoid roof penetrations. Roof anchors were cast into concrete by the concrete contractor after Summit Anchor Co. supplied layout drawings and anchors.
