Two are Better Than One

The old adage, “Two are better than one,” is true with fall safety protection design too. With one of Summit Anchor’s latest projects, designers used TWO anchors with TWO fasteners per anchor.
Then it performed two independent tests for the fastener of each anchor AND of each anchor assembly. This type of redundancy helps ensure maximum safety for anchor connections.
Summit Anchor engineered and supplied the rooftop anchors as well as provided two PE sealed load test prescriptions (LTPs) for each of the previously mentioned test types. Expert Summit Anchors, Summit Anchor’s inspection and re-certification affiliate, load tested the installed anchors to the two LTPs.
The result? We met our client’s project need for certified anchors…on time, on schedule.
